The Da Vinci Controversy

I don’t understand what the uproar about the Da Vinci Code was all about, I mean, so it has blashpemy in it, but it is only fiction, and surely plenty of other books contain similar stuff that the Church doesn’t get upset about? Such as His Dark Materials trilogy, by Philip Pullman… that talks of destroying the High Authority, yet there isn’t such an uproar over those books…

Anyway, on a lighter note, missing Ineke :( Though she does get back today, but I have to go and do the PA at church, sitting in a hot little booth from 4 until the end of the service when the weather outside is so nice is not my idea of fun!

Worked yesterday, both tills broke again, but c’est la vie. Played the Game of Life afterwards, with Mum, Suzie and Tessa, that was fun, haven’t played that in ages!!

I ordered the Tremors films from Amazon.co.uk - those films are excellent!! Have to show them to Ineke and Tessa, both of whom haven’t even heard of them! :o

Played in the service this morning, songs went alrite, sermon was good, blah blah blah, usual stuff.

Can’t wait until you’re home, Ineke.
