Post-Spring Harvest

07Apr

Well Spring Harvest is over this year… The picture is of Zoe, one of the girls I stayed with. The other one was Hannah but I don’t think I managed to get a nice picture of her!

Spring Harvest was good after a shaky beginning. What was fantastic was not only were there good seminars by some good speakers, but I got to spend pratically from dawn until dusk with Ineke!

I was on site and half board, so I had a full English breakfast every morning, then walked down the beach to Ineke’s flat off site. Sat around talking to her and who she stayed with, Simon has the best sense of humour ever! And Amy’s lovely. Then around quarter to 10 we’d leave and go back to Butlins for the first morning Session, a Bible study. Was quite interesting most mornings. Then we’d be split into smaller groups and me and Ineke would go off to the iStudents bit for anybody in Further or Higher Education. That finished at 1300, we had lunch then. After lunch was the choice to go to any of the afternoon sessions but we didn’t, chosing instead to relax. We wandered round the Skyline Pavillion, chatted to Angie, went on the fairground etc. Generally had fun!

There were two things to do in the evening. Another study with a sermon at 1845, we went to that one most evenings, then there was a choice of things to do from 2230 to 2330, more concerty dramary type things. Me and Ineke chose not to go to any of those.

Suprise guest wednesday night of Daniel Bedingfield, launched the Stop the Traffik campaign.

Basically had a great time. I love you Ineke!
