Church Meetings

20Sep

Are boring. And thats basically all I have to say on that matter, other than the fact that we were there for 2 and a half hours and not much happened. Plus I didn’t like the fact that there was a *non-member* there!

Anyway, I rang Novatech again this morning to double check about returning goods when the package had been damaged. They were less sure this time and said it was unlikely, but I thought I’d try anyway. So I drove over there, and the guy behind the counter didn’t even look at the item when he refunded the money, and I went and bought an analogue and digital one from the main shop. It’s a weird place, Novatech. Returns is round the side of the warehouse, in a little door which looks as if it’s staff only. Anyway, got home, and it took an awful lot of fiddling to get it to pick up the N64 or SNES, but it did work! Though to start with, it was too slow to play, there being about a 2 second delay between pressing a button on the controller and anything happening on screen. That is, until I discovered that if I turned off the ability to pause and rewind live TV, it ran much faster. Had issues with the digital channels to start with also, but they are now resolved and all is working fine :)

So, once again, thanks Novatech.
