Finally Goodbye

Well, from me anyway. We basically moved Suzie and all her worldly possessions (well, it seemed like it) into her new house today. Me and Mum drove up in Smo, and Suzie and Dad went in the Mazda; there was only two free seats in the Mazda after all Suzie’s stuff, and one was needed for the driver… Suzie and Dad went to the Letting Agents to collect the keys while me and Mum went straight to the house. When Suzie and Dad arrived, followed by the other 5 people and their parents, it was a mad rush to get everything in the house, 6 people trying to use one front door and one flight of stairs, though two of the rooms are on the ground floor. We managed it though, and set Suzie’s room up how she wanted it. I set up her computer, and left a message on the screen saver saying “Welcome to your new home, Suzie! Hope you enjoy Uni, from Ben :)”, which I hope she appreciates when she sees it!

So she’s all settled. I found out today what it feels like to be in an ambulance - and no, I’m not injured!! Suzie needed a new chest of drawers in her room, so we went to B&Q in the Mazda - but remember, the Mazda only has the driving seat and the passenger seat free, so me and Dad sat in the back with no seats or seat belts on the way to the shop. On the way back, we thought it would be fun to lie down in the back, so we did. It’s not that comfortable, really, but it was different!

I met the others in Suzie’s house - now I can picture them whenever she talks about them: Jenny, Ruby, Charlotte, Abi (no idea how you spell it) and Rob. Hope they all get on ok in their new life!
