You know, it’s odd. Dan can play much better than me one minute, and beat me by all the balls on the table, yet the next I’ll beat him by the same amount - I think on my part it’s mainly fluke. I did a few really cool shots, off about 4 cushions and into totally unexpected pockets, but then it was nothing planned, and I definately wouldn’t have been able to play some of those shots again! I’d miss really simple ones, yet still get some crazy ones in that I never thought I’d get… Whereas Dan seems quite consistent with his playing! Oh well. 6-4 isn’t too bad a defeat!

Well today is Wednesday… meaning our second B164L lab session this morning, programming the microcontrollers to count through 6 clock phases and count every 50 clock cycles. It’s really quite fun, it’s great writing Assembler because none of it seems to make sense yet it still does something! And it’s cool watching the output on the oscilloscope and it actually doing what you expect it to. Well… sometimes anyway.

Jon managed to lock himself out of his room on Monday, hence why he wasn’t in any of the lectures. Clever lad… he had to wait around the whole day for his landlord to come.

Anyway. Was going to see a film with a group of people tonight, but they decided to go 15 minutes before I finished work, so couldn’t go with them, hence why me and Dan played pool instead. Entertaining evening.
