A Weekend with my Girlfriend
So… Friday was an interesting day! Got up and met Kita from the station with Clare (Ruth), then we went back to mine to dump her stuff and on to meet Dan at Jamochas! They looked happy to see each other, bless them! Kita, Clare (Ruth) and I then wandered round Palmerston Road, bought a few things, and back to meet Dan as he left work! So I spent the morning with them, then caught a train 2 hours earlier to what Ineke was expecting, so turned up at her flat 2 hours earlier and suprised her! Which I hope was a *nice* suprise…
Friday evening we stayed in and watched Friends dvd’s, was nice to have a quiet evening in with my girlfriend :) Ineke cooked mincemeat, baked beans and chili con carne powder, or something, which we had in pitta bread, and which wasn’t that bad… Was quite hot! And Ineke didn’t even put in the whole packet, but was still ok…
Saturday we got up around 11 and had a cooked breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausages, fried eggy bread, toast, baked beans and fried smiley face potatoes! It was really nice :) We went into Bath, I did some Christmas shopping and so am nearly finished! Hehe. Apart from Ineke…
Saturday evening we stayed in again (theres not much to do on the Bath campus!!) and watched Love Actually which Ineke had borrowed off her friend Sarah. It’s a good film :)
Sunday meant church at Hay Hill Baptist, I was shattered all day though and had trouble staying awake during the sermon, not that Rob isn’t a good preacher or anything… When we got back to Ineke’s we bought some frozen roast potatoes, and did them along with chicken strips, chicken nuggets, baked beans, yorkshire puddings and *shock horror* peas and carrots!!! So, Mum, I had some vegetables this weekend!!
Ineke’s tea towel is one she got from her infant school, with pictures of themselves on it, as drawn by themselves, so I thought I’d show you Ineke’s picture of herself! It’s the picture on the right above. I’ll leave to your imagination what Ineke’s “third leg” is!
