Sleeping Monkey Presents...
Birthdays, Gigs and Fire
Dec 09 2006I haven’t blogged in soooo long! This time I’m going to try and blog every day for over a week! Like Dan has…
We’re sat in Dan’s flat listening to Christmas music and chatting about Live Aid… We’ve just got back from playing Pool down Gunwharf where I only won one game and that wasn’t really a real game as we were playing Killer… Oh well.
Ineke is down :) yay!
Got my results for my maths test today… I got 96% right :) The highest in the class again :$ but only by 2%!!! Hehe.
Woke up at 12:58 this afternoon… I didn’t go to bed until 3 the morning before as Dan, Clare Ruth and I had been watching films round Dan’s… Dan and I had watched 4, Clare Ruth only watched 3. Earlier in the day we watched the Corpse Bride, a really good film! Tim Burton is a brilliant director… Later, when Clare Ruth was there, we watched the Nightmare Before Christmas (a bit of a Tim Burton evening…) and then Bruce Almighty… after that we chatted for a while then put on East Is East, a really weird film :S Then I was shattered and so went home for bed.
Wednesday was a very busy day! Not to mention being woken up at 10 to 6 in the morning by an actual fire in A block… We were out in the cold for an hour before they put it out and we were allowed back in… Then up for a lab at 9, where we fixed numerous problems with our code… After that, a few hours break until I had a meeting for work (shh, top secret stuff!) and then actual work… Where I immediately had to run home, get my DJ on, and then meet Dad to drive me to the pier for the Big Band gig at the Pharmacy Ball… Got home around half midnight though! Not too bad…
Tom was 20 today… so Hayley and I bought him 20 cans of Fosters, and 6 doughnuts which we stuck candles in saying “TWENTY”… He can’t eat anything with milk in which ruled out birthday cake…
Up for a rehearsal tomorrow morning at half 10… *yawn*
Oh, and I’ve been neglecting Sarah’s thought of the day… so… erm… Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
Dan
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
A great word of encouragement.
Kita
