Sleeping Monkey

Sleeping Monkey Presents...

I haven’t blogged in so long I can barely remember what one is

Dec 31 2006

That’s what it’s starting to feel like! I’ve either been busy, or too tired, or some other reason. Oh well, got a lot of catching up to do!

I suppose you’re all wondering what I got for Christmas? Those of you who don’t already know that is… A really nice 250Gb external harddrive by Lacie, designed by Porsche :) Finally I have no need to worry about my disc space on my laptop, because I can always shunt data off onto Lacie!

Christmas was really good this year, the first Christmas I’ve spent actual Christmas Day with “my other half”! It was really good. Ineke stayed over until boxing day, and we went to our friend’s house. Chris had the biggest champagne flute I have ever seen, it was large enough to fit a whole bottle of champagne in, and he drank *two* whole glasses! Funny thing is though, he didn’t seem any different before or after… but maybe that’s just him!

I’ve been bowling twice in the last two days. Trust two different groups of friends to organise bowling on consecutive days when they have a whole 3 week period in which to do it! I was pretty rubbish on Friday, with Church friends. I came home and said that my life’s ambition was to get over 100 in a game! And guess what? Today, with college friends, I beat all 10 of our friends at bowling, the first game I got 100 exactly, and the second I improved and got 114! I was really chuffed with myself :D not every day I can say that…

Thursday was a good day, spent it in London with my cousins from my Dad’s side of the family. Ineke came up with us too, and we had a fun time chatting, eating, opening more presents (I got the final Rebus book, Clare Ruth!!), and playing Guitar Hero on the PS2. On the way home Ineke fell asleep in the car, it was quite funny!

Anyway, this blog hasn’t been as long and as detailed as it could have been (I didn’t even mention work on Wednesday! Oh, now I have…) so be thankful!

But at least I’ve blogged again.

Sarah: You can’t teach and old dog new tricks. But I’m sure you can, maybe we should try it one day. Or just ask an expert. Either way.
