Protected: Surprise!

I had a surprise birthday party planned for me on Monday evening! It was really cool :) I almost really ruined it as I decided not to go to Big Band (was feeling a tad under the weather, couldn’t really be bothered to be honest) and they were planning on setting it up while I was at that. So Dan suggested playing pool, so we did for a while, then when I got back to the flat, Dan kept on trying to get me into the kitchen but apparently I was being stubborn and not taking hints :P eventually he went into the kitchen and told Ineke to tell me he had slipped and fallen and needed help… I didn’t believe that, but I went anyway, and everyone jumped out and yelled SUPRISE and it was really cool! There were banners and posters and balloons and cake and stuff and it was good fun! It was organised by Dan, Ruth Clare, Sarah and Sam, with a bit of help from Hayley. It’s the first time I’ve ever had a surprise party organised for me :) So thanks guys!

The DAB tuner I got for my birthday is getting plenty of use ;) listening to theJazz most of the time, occasionally switching to a CD. Thanks Mum and Dad and John and Suzie!!

Lab this morning was good, we’ve almost finished the project, just one little error to look through and solve. Woo!
