Project 365
Apr 21 2009I’ve been browsing Flickr today, looking through their Explore, which is where they showcase what their algorithm determines as the most interesting photos on Flickr. There are so many on there added by photographers taking part in numerous Project 365s, and it makes me want to do my own photography project.

However, there is no way that I’d be able to do project 365… I attempted it before, and it just fell flat on it’s face. Besides, the photos were poor quality, there was no thought behind them, it was more of an afterthought each day. “Ah no, forgot to do my photo for today, quick, let’s just grab anything and take it”.
So what project could I do? Any ideas? I’d like one where I have to think about each photo, and one where I can try to produce actual quality photos, rather than junk. That probably means that there would have to be no time restriction on each photo – if I have to take one each day, there’s no way I can get them all high quality, that just wouldn’t happen. Any other project ideas I could do?

How ’bout some link with photos and bible verses?
You could pick one a week, and then take a photo that relates to it?
Might be hard to do that way round, maybe take photos every week or whatever, and then find one that can relate to a bible verse?
Ben
Hmm, I like it… but I’m pretty sure I’d run out of ideas on how to relate an image to a verse or a verse to an image… Though it’s a good thought.

How about doing an alphabet one, or a rainbow one?
Ben
A rainbow one?
Ruth
Yeah, take a pink, red, orange etc picture so that they form a rainbow (and I know pinks not in the rainbow but oh well!)
